When NOVURANIA engineers began work on creating its exclusive 5 ply Hypalon fabric over fifty years ago, the goal was clear… Create a rubber coated fabric that surpasses in quality, offers durability and color integrity and ensures reliability.
The fabric’s unique strength resides in a heavy and tightly woven TREVIRA polyester core which is stronger and less elastic then nylon fabrics.
This fabric core is coated with several layers of pure NEOPRENE and several layers of pure HYPALON on both the outside and inside. Although this process is more expensive due to the number of times the fabric needs to be calendered, by applying the two components pure, the benefits of each are optimized. Pure NEOPRENE guarantees unsurpasses airtightness, pure HYPALON assures that the resistance to UV light, abrasions, aging, chemicals, rotting and hardening are maximized.
